golf help please

ok when it is long range shots i am pretty good get the ball close to the hole. i do the perfect action and it does not register, then i end up doing it too hard and it goes over the hole O.0 help???

Not sure if it works but apparently you can perfect it by just tapping the remote from ur right hand to ur left. Not tried it myself plus it's cheating. Way more fun to struggle along hehe. Anyone mastered it?

I really like Gold actually, its either that or bowling or maybe tennis. How is everyone on it? I get a few Birdys every now and again but if i dont play it for a while i easily forget the tac tics.

I'm pretty good at it but just sometimes get a bit bored cos i'm not a huge fan off golf tbh and i'd probably never buy an individual golf game.

Muse - make sure you allow for roll... i.e. if the hole is at the second diamond on the power bar you want to be hitting it one and a half ;)

Also take into account uphill and downhill shots and of course wind as these all affect power...

This may sound weird but look at the distance to the pin then look down and visualise the ball dont look at the tv and hit the ball with the force you think it needs. it works every time for me. if i look at the tv i miss every time.

That's exactly what I tell the girlfriend....it works for me, can't wait for Tiger Woods 8)

i sometimes have problems with golf to for a couple of shots it will be fine then it will go all strange and hit a full powered shot when i hardly move the wiimote, only thing it happens on golf is my fourth fav game on there

order of games for me: tennis, baseball, bowling, golf and finally boxing (hardly play that)

works the same for me too, even when you're in a bunker, I'm surprised how accurate it is!

Trouble with Wii golf is I don't think the power is set correctly. You only need to do a light swing to hit it full power. I love golf games but find this event the worst of the 5. :shock: I JUST WANT TO SWING IT HARD DAMMIT!!!!

Tiger Woods is supposed to have a more realistic swing so looking forward to that one BIG TIME!! :D

I find the same as Huz, this game is my least favourite from Wii Sports. Still quite good fun though but would be great if you did actually have to do a full swing nice and hard.

how i do it: you know how to hit it long range? well i do it, swing down and add the follow through to, if you do tht slowly, incuding follow through, then it registers, you just have to slowly swing then slowly carry on going

when you the green push the 1 button and the 2 button, they both do different things to let you see the lay of the green.

i use that a lot kim lol. Muse, I'd also suggest following through, it really works for me. Also, it seems to register flicking the wrist on puting, but I've never really tried it.
