View Full Version : Blue Light/Disc drive

The blue light on my disc drive doesnt work. When I turn on the console, it flashes on for a split second, then goes off, and it doesnt glow like I'm assuming it should. Has/does this happen to anyone else? Its really annoying!

It can be set in the Wii's options, check there first :wink:

The light only glows when you receive a message or an update. The light coming on and going off again straight away when you first power up is normal. :D

It's a cool feature, I get home from work.....see blue light pulsating, telling me I have new mail to read 8)

I wondered why the blue light was pulsing this morning! Thought I'd left it on all night for a moment! Oooh, I must have mail!!

there should be an option to have the light on permanently
Just send yourself an e-mail and don't open it. :wink:

I knew that but I'm just saying there should be an option in the settings to leave it on permanently

Do you mean there should be as in there is, and I haven't found it, or that there should be and they havent put it on there?

ohh so thats what is there for i thought it was just for show lol any way it helps me to find the bed without falling over when lights out :D
