Not sure if they do exist. I did read something on Google stating that some third party companies are looking to produce them but was wondering if anyone on here had seen anything of them.

I could really do with a wireless movement sensor

Looks like I may have to break tradition and order from the US.

Is the wire a real issue then? It's quite thin and unintrusive. :D That site looks a bit dodgy to me.

I have a projector set up. So on the back wall I have a sound system and projector and the screen is actually a large white wall on the other side of the room. It means I have to run the cable across the miidle of the floor, at waist height, to below where the screen projects.

I am rubbish at limbo dancing so it is a pain in the backside.

Has anyone even seen a "wired" sensor bar being sold seperatly?

I've search the internet for the price of a wired sensor bar........can't find one anywhere. Maybe these will be available for sale in the near future, otherwise we're all be going for the wireless option.

That wireless sensor bar looks like something you could build yourself for a few quid spent at Maplin if you can handle some basic soldering and a drill.

The sensor bar is dumb. It's just a few IR LEDs. All the "sensing" is done in the WiiMote. You can make your own (battery operated one) quite easily using bits from Maplin.

See here (http://battleclan.ca/content/view/803/116/).

cheers for that link :) i think i will get one of these for when i take my wii round to a mates am worried that the nintendo one (like they say in the article) may break if i put it in a bag and walk somewhere and getting a big tv soon so a wireless one may be better
