Depends, if you've got a HDTV then you will see a better picture. My Sony Bravia looks worse compared to a Philips Plasma. But there is a still an improvement in the picture.

I got the 32" one, and now im having second thoughts about the wii....

Does the component cable make much of a difference?

i have one on my atec 37" hdtv and it only looks better on hd compatible games but little diffrence. on wii sports it looks worse

Wii Sports indeed looks worse on LCD but better on Plasma, maybe somebody could possibly shed some light on why this is.

But other games do look better, such as Need for Speed.

LCD Tv's arent as good at showing motion as plasma tv's I think thats why

Looks better on my plasma even using a cheapo lead.Not by lots, but enough to justify using it.can read text browsing the net easier too.
