There have been numerous posts about Toys R Us stock on here and after grabbing myself a Wii yesterday, I just wanted to say that it definitely seems to be the best place to get one at the moment. I rung round every single store I could think of first thing in the morning and there was no stock anywhere. Before giving up I tried Toys R Us on the off chance and they had some in but said they get sold almost immediately, sometimes with a queue upon opening the store. The customer services representative told me they can't reserve items but after talking to somebody in the games department and explaining I was coming from an hour away, he said he would slip a ticket behind the counter for me. One hour later I have my Wii. I wasn't intending to spend 290 quid which is their bundle at the moment but I would have bought the games soon enough anyway. My advice is to ring your nearest Toys R Us, tell them you're travelling from far away and you may find another kind games department employee. I'd only been looking for a Wii for a day and they seem to get lots of stock in.
