Hey there, am I right in thinking you did this in the Edinburgh store (read in previous posts, not a stalker!)

I popped into the Princes Street store on Saturday - the guy there said they had plenty and were just working their way through preorders. While he was careful to not say explicitly how long I should expect to wait, he gave the impression it should be around a week. A friend of mine in the Luton area did this on Monday last week and got a call from Gamestation on the Friday!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a call from Gamestation today or tomorrow, so if/when I get it I'll be sure to snag some GC stuff. I know they usually have a pile of second hand games in there - I'd really like to try out Super Mario Sunshine.

And yep, there it is. Phone call this afternoon a week after pre-ordering, my Wii is in stock. I've been playing it all day, shame there aren't any Wiimotes or Wii Plays in Edinburgh!

Just to give you all hope, I live in Hull and pre-ordered my Wii on Monday and it was a present for my fiance's birthday yesterday (saturday), anyway I got the call on Wednesday to say mine was in stock!! Woo Hoo! I was really lucky getting it in time for his birthday but I would definitely recommend getting it from Gamestation because I also had one pre-ordered on play.com and woolies website and they both messed me around! We cannot stop wii'ing, it is fantastic - the only problem we are having now is trying to get hold of Wii Play game. It comes with a free Wii Remote so my guess is, people are buying that for £35 instead of the Wii remote on its own for £30 cos then they are getting the game for a fiver - gutted though really because I really want it NOW :lol:

I think I have a solution, go to www.choicesuk.com and buy it from there - enter code BEST10 at checkout and it will go down to £31.49!
It says no stock till 14th Feburary but I got mine two days after ordering!

On a different note, anyone know how long it will till I get one? Preordered on Friday morning, the guy in the shop said that they were getting a delievery that afternoon which would clear out their entire backlog...

Placed an order at St Helens Gamestation today - when I asked, the guy behind the counter said there were 'a fair few' names before mine but said it shouldn't be a long wait as they are getting plenty in on a weekly basis.

But not from gamestation. I got it from game - 9:00 in the morning. I didnt get a call from gamestation so im presuming They didnt get any in.

I phoned yesterday, and they said they were still sorting out the backlog from mid Jan - she said I would be looking at 2/3 weeks.

Took the plunge and ordered the bundle from Game (still available online), which should be here on Wednesday :lol:
