Play.com - This morning (25th)

Has anyone elses order changed to order taken or stuck on order placed. Cos mine has changed to order taken and someone was saying theres is on order placed since jan 14th or somthing.

What is it for you lot?

Take a look at the other thread from this morning (http://wiifind.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1218), orders taken today are simply added to the back of the queue while the pre-orders are fulfilled with the new stock. It's a rubbish system that play have.

last time they came into stock at play it was a mistake..when play recieve there stock even for back orders they have to put in on there system for the back order to be completed and sent as soon as they accept the stock it shows on there system as available thats probably why they chose 2:30 am... hope they recieved a large amount and everyone who is still waitin gets theres but i Just checked my order from 16TH jan still says order placed...i would'nt stop lookin cos ya think ya got one..

Yes but I don't think that means anything to be honest. My friend ordered one in October which still hasn't been despatched!

Sorry to burst your bubble :-).

I had a similar thing with Virgin Megastores if it's any consolation - my order said "Released for Delivery", then two hours later it changed to "On backorder from supplier".

The lesson of the story being, don't trust what it says until it says "Despatched".

Well, I'd hold the order until you find one elsewhere, then cancel it.

My order through Play seems increasingly dubious...It says "Order Taken" and from what I'm reading, I'm possibly 943rd in their pre-order list. Anyone else getting more and more paranoid as their search goes on?!
