GamePlay - preordered mon 22, received weds 24th

Have been tracking this site for a week or so and thought it only fair that I try and help others now that i'm sorted.

After trailing the shops all last week and nearly paying over the odds on eBay I bit the bullet and 'pre-ordered' on Gameplay.

I did this on monday, this monday the 22nd, in the afternoon. The website gave me no indication of a delivery day, and said 'out of stock' I emailed them to tell them Id ordered and ask for an idea of delivery. I got no reply via email from them.
Yesterday afternoon (23rd) however I went onto gameplay, logged in and my status was 'being picked-will be sent today'.
Sure enough my Wii has just been delivered (24th)

So there you go, give it a try the website says out of stock but they obviously don't have a massive backlog of orders, get your order in today and maybe you will get it friday?

Wii + WarioWare @ £212.98, delivered to your door aint bad though - most people want a game when they buy I would have thought.

(£214.98 if you choose Wii + Zelda)

Just spoke to someone at Gameplay to ask for a realistic delivery date if i ordered today.
Was told "professionally" that he had no idea, but "personally" he gave 3 weeks at the earliest.

i ordered from gameplay on the 26th and my order says backordered now :( Cant get response via email from their customer services either :(

not quite sure how the ordering system on gameplay works, seems to be random, some people will order no problem and get their order processed almost immediately, others are put on back order.

is it the actual console part of the bundle thats on backorder? (you can check each part of your order in 'your account')

Preordered this Monday (29th), has just moved from backorder to picking, despatching today. Wii!

It's now at my local Parcelfarce hub, out for delivery this morning. Just in time for the weekend!

I can recommend gameplay.co.uk, I ordered Monday and delivered Friday, not too shabby!

i'd say screw everythin else and get an order in at gameplay

A week, I ordered it week past Sunday night it was posted Friday arrived today so a safe bet.

Hmmmm.... I think buying shares in Nintendo might be a good idea seeing they're still selling out like crazy nearly three months after launch.

Im bumping this thread because Gameplay are freakin' good.
Wii's are listed as 'sold out' but I ordered on 11th Feb and it was delivered on 14th.

I second that. I got mine a few days ago :D . I preoredered it a while back but gamestation delivered. Also, you get the deposit of £20 refunded from your wii when you buy it.

I was going to take a gamble and preorder with Gameplay and cancel the the pre-order with PowerPlayDirect which I have been waiting for almost 3 weeks now. However I'm going to preorder with GamePlay, and keep the PowerPlayDirect order open also and see which gets despatched first, fingers crossed I don't end up with two, lol. *Watches like a hawk*

i would take it as a good sign, as a few days after mine changed to ordered it arrived.
