Webmon worked a treat, glad I could help others. I've been getting more and more disappointed when wandering the high streets at weekends :lol:

Edit: Thinking about it, I could offer people my webmon file so they wouldn;t have to setup it all themselves (for when the woolies stock runs out!)

meee toooo......For all who miss it, 'webmon' is the way to go...google it and change settings to check for updates every minute...it beeped me when i was in the shower that woolies had updated and i ordered one wet....not a wet one you understand... :lol:

exactly same for me

set the interval to a minute, limit the search phrase to the particular stock phrase on the page (although you dont have to it avoids rolling adverts giving you a false alarm) and bingo. First day using webmon and bagged me a Wii :lol:

I am having trouble logging onto the Woolworths website to find my order details. I cannot see anything on the site and the link to my account takes me to the homepage on both IE6 and FireFox2.

Argh, my friend just had their order cancelled as there wasn't enough stock. You'd have thought in this day and age a major retailer would be able to link stock to their website instead of having to use this ridiculous system where the order's passed on to their supplier. Didn't have these issues with gameplay...

Anyway my orders in, and will be fulfilled before the next lot appear on woolies website, so i hope it won't be too long. They appear to be getting stock twice a week

So any ideas why woolies decided to sell some yesterday? Seems a bit strange for em to sell something not physically in stock, unless they have been let down by their supplier. I have requested from them that our wii's are dispatched before any more appear for sale on their website.

Don't hold yer breath - my delivery too says 25th, but after liasing with customer services this morning they have none and don't know when they will get some. Strange, as they had ordering on again at 11.30 this morning.
False advertising springs to mind over yesterdays lot, it seems those ordered today are not being delivered before mid feb, so can't have a go about that. But people who ordered yesterday, myself included, have every right to feel aggreived. :x

I agree, especially since they estimated that orders would be dispatched within 24 hours.

If I have to wait until late February, I'd rather take my chances (and my business) elsewhere. I will give them a couple of days to sort things out then will cancel my order if not dispatched. You'd think they would try harder considering their worrying sales figures?

This item is currently on 'Back Order' which means we do not have any stock at the moment. Unfortunately, we do not have an expected date of arrival for this item. Once we do receive it at our suppliers, we will despatch it straight away. We cannot guarantee a date of delivery at the moment. Please accept our apologies on this matter.

I'm not sure what is going on really as Comet and Woolworths are part of the same group. Wonder if Woolworths got told they could have some stock but it's gone to comet instead.

Anyway, didn't fancy the comet package :( I'll keep looking as i'm sure my woolies one won't turn up tomorrow!

ok, ok maybe i was too hasty in cancelling my woolies wii, but i've got one coming from comet anyway.
What really hacks me off tho, is i've had multiple email from woolies telling me they have no idea when stocks are due, then only a few hours later they're dispatching them. What a crappy way to run a business. If they'd have said 2-3 days, that would have been great - i'd have been happy with that. Its all the "we don't know" stuff that gets me mad.
JUST TELL US LIKE IT IS.
We pay our money, we only deserve a decent service.
