that be it. I was going to whack it on Ebay, where it will end up selling for about £220 anyway.. but thought i'd ask here, as this site helped me get my Wii :)

You mean so you won't have to pay fees?

Actually if you sold on ebay and got paid by paypal the fees would come to just over 20 pound.

if this site helped you then help the people here and sell it for £180 or £190 MAX

if not go and join the rest of the greedy people on EBAY

Offered £190+Shipping but did not manage to get it, so this may sound like a biast post.

But I suppose its a bit of a catch 22. Some will say that we need the extra Wii's to be made available here so we have a chance to get one, even at a premium. Others may suggest that this gives chance for a quick profit and therefore should have there memebership suspended.

I wonder how many have bought a Wii they don't need on the chance they could offload it here without paying any ebay & paypal fees?

Wouldn't it just be better to ban all "Wii For Sale" adverts unless the seller is prepared to offer people (who are desperate for a Wii) a fair price i.e. £180-£190 + postage.

I'm sure there will be a rush of Buy-it-Now Wii's on eBay this Thursday with the 10p listing promotion!

I agree , the forum mods should do this.

yup .. got mine from the sites hint of Gamestation : Friday 10am , and got lucky again with a user comment a moment later from Amazon.co.uk

Congratulations! Your "colleague" must be thrilled that he is £60 lighter!

Shouldn't you be down on the coast of Devon?

I bought my Wii for £179.99 last week from Gamestation after seeing the thread here - and am very grateful to the site for that heads up.

However, I don't see any problem with the odd person flogging them on here for £220 or £230. At the end of the day, no-one is being forced to buy it - if you don't like the price, don't buy it but don't start whinging either.

Demand is high and supply is short so there are always going to be some people willing to pay a bit over RRP to get their hands on one - it's their money, their choice.
