Has anybody received their nunchuck from hmv yet?

I bought the 11.99 one and it said it was in stock, now i have gone to look at my order on the website and it has said on order from supplier!

Anybody else got the same?

Yup, me too. It was in stock when I placed the order.

Did you order Wii Play at the same time like I did?

I was working as a stock controller for Virgin over Christmas, and we tend to use the same suppliers as HMV and sadly the website suppliers are a bit unreliable when it comes to in-stock information on the websites.

When something is being ordered by the supplier, it could take upto 4 weeks for it to arrive, but given this is a new and in-demand product, it should be sooner then that plus they are probably just awaiting a bulk delivery. Give it a week and see how it goes.

I ordered Wii play at the same time and am still waiting, but i noticed that the nunchuck on the main site said 'dispatched within24 hours' whilst on my order it was still 'on special order with supplier'.
So i ordered a single nunchuck to see if that could get delivered by the weekend. Sure enough, it's now moved to 'on special order with supplier'.
Talk about false advertising. We've got stock. so you order, where upon they change their mind and suddenly don't have stock. magic!

From past experience, the HMV & Virgin sites are pretty unreliable when it comes to dispatch times. It's down to the suppliers more then HMV & Virgin, but I know how annoying it is and many-a-time I had to take the brunt of angry customers over their stupid ordering systems even though it had absolutely nothing to do with me (the online ordering system is a completely different part of the company) :p

Might be worth holding on until the end of the week, if not just cancel the order and look elsewhere. It is a pain, but nothing in life is ever simple, lol.

My order for Controller and Play and Nunchuk from HMV is still saying "on special order with suppliers" after a week. They sent Warioware (not sure
about this game..) which took 6 days to arrive as it was sent from Guernsey on the "free delivery" option. I don't like the malarky of saving the VAT by wasting resourses shipping to and from Guernsey so won't use HMV again.

Hi There,

I have had the same problems, had a nunchuck on order with HMV for over a week and decided to cancel it on Sunday and ordered one off Amazon and it arrived yesterday! They still have some in stock.

Has anyone ever actually received one from HMV? Mine has been on order for nearly 2 weeks and still on back order from supplier. They're the cheapest though!

I agree.....if I wanted to pay full price I might as well walk into the toysrus down the road and get it right away rather than order it online and hope it arrives :?

I'm just a little impatient I guess, thought a week was long enough and the still not knowing when it was going to be delivered was pain even tho it was a bargain!!!!. So for an extra £3 quid (and free delivery) for the nunchuck I thought it was worth it just so we can carry on playing Rayman Rabbids in two player mode! Excellent game but flipping crazy! There's no nuchucks in stock round here, even due to the rareity of them our local Game is selling them for £17.99 and they are sold out!

PC world have the nunchucks in stock at £12.99 on their on-line order, inc store collect policy.
i got desparate waiting for HMV to sort them selves out i went and bought a controller and nunchuck from PC world, but i've left my HMV order ongoing as it's so cheap and i want wii-play eventually.
In the meantime, i now have multiplayer action!

Ok a month after I orderd it I rang up as it still said on order with suppliers, bloke on phone had no idea when it was going to arrive so I cancelled, mainly because I have SEEN both nunchuck and Wii play for sale in HMV stores... BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE HMV!
