Nope. tbh i dont really see the need to nowadays, as standalone dvd players are dirt cheap anyway.

No the wii doesent play dvd's but theres a rumour that they are working on a batch of wii's that support dvds, will have to wait and see but i honestly dont care.

it would be nice, wouldn't Nintendo be able to release a system update that will allow DVD playback?

BTW, how many times have others updated their console? is the news feed available yet?

How do I know when I need to update my system?>
