Hi
I was just using my wiimote and it is no longer working. I have tried syncing it again and tried all the things said in the manual, but nothing works.
The four little blue lights flash at the bottom for a few seconds then nothing. I have changed the batteries but its not that either.
I only got it on Thursday and have played on it for about 6 hrs since then.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Mine did something strange yesterday. It turned the console on, got to the disc channel then packed up. The second remote wouldnt do anything either. I reset the wii then it worked ok.

Thanks, seems to be OK now. It started working as soon as I put the wii on again.

The Wiimote does seem to be a little tempremental at times, mine has the same problem occasionally.

I just turned the console off for 10 minutes then as soon as I turned it back on it was fine. I spent about 45 minutes putting in friends codes from those thread, seemed to take forever! Working fine since.

Just an example of how silly I can be. I tried to sync a new controller but held both sync butons until the lights stopped flashing. Hay Presto both controllers stopped working. Only when my daughter read the instructions and pushed and released the buttons did the remotes sync no problem.

Have you pulled the power supply from the Wii to turn it right off for a couple of minutes, then turn it all back on again and ensure the wii-mote is re-synced.

Ok, seems like its time to call the people you got the Wii from and see what they recommend. Probably have to send the remote back to nintendo and there fix it, may take 2 weeks though. Can you borrow a remote from anyone so you can make sure that is the problem?

haven't anyone noticed that with ALL batteries? if you dont use them for a while, they wil get some magic power from somewhere for a little while, but die as soon as any energy is used, I'm gonna go to the market and bulk-buy a gzillion batteries for cheap.

Apparantly production has started on this cool looking Wii-mote charger by a third party, hopefully these will be imported over here.

They plug into the Wii USB and one charge will last 25 hours.

Yeah looks good, i think i posted about something like that before but one that goes into the wii is a pretty good idea.
