loud constant beep

this was wierd, i was playin red steel, just defeated the guy when you first get the sword and the two evil blokes after him, i then started shooting at the door cos it wasnt a push to open one and the game froze and starting making a constant adn lud beeping noise.
Was it the game, the console, or me ?

was it the TV beeping or the remote? does it happen alot and does it only happen with redsteel? it hasn't happened to me. normaly if my gamecube was to freeze it wouldn't make a noise so i think it more the game.

it only happened the once but i havent really tries it again, it was the tv speakers ( so i guess the game) making the noise

is the disc looking ok, not damaged or anything, try it again, but try to make it go bleep (if you can/ if you want to) to see what your doing thats causing the game to beep.

same symptoms happened to me (twice) on the skii slope.

game locks, and there is a loud electrical 'hum' until i switch off!

mine has been absolutely fine since, played it quite abit wihtout problem.
seems a bit wierd tho

Yeah same with me aswel, theres ben no problems and i havent witnessed any glitches or funny noises.

mrmrW it will be weird at first but when you get into it it will seem like a normal game. One thing that makes up for the wierd type controling scheme is the storylines.
