Hi AND HELP!!!

hi ive just joined up and recieved my wii today.....

i am just connecting to the internet and now it is on the wii system update which is not moving very fast at all..... i have been waiting for about 30 mins and it has hardly moved at all.....

is there any reason for this and is there any way that i could skip this and do it another time so i can play something??

Hi 5K1TZ and welcome to wiifind forums.
Well when i did my update it took about 15 minutes and then was fine i dont really know why yours would take 30 minutes but you could probably just turn of the wii and then turn back on again and do the update later or maybe do update will work better if you start again?

tried to switch it off then on again... but it just said it was gonna start doing that again.......

wanna play something but i can't!!!!!!!!!! please somebody help...... it really is annoying.... i have also written a letter of complaint to nintendo

no i have been downloading this for 30 mins......... it is still goign.... and not 10% done...

i am doing it wirelessly....

Erm i doubt it as i updated my wii wirelessly and it took about 20 mins.
Is it actually going up but just really slow or isit not moving at all?

If it is moving but slow your best bit is to just leave it then.

If you're using too much of your bandwidth with the computer that runs on the same network. Pause all downloads and programs that use the internet on your computer and try again, maybe?
It could also be a problem at Nintendo for a number of reasons so i wouldn't panic, just be patient and you'll be wiiing before you know it :)

this is ridiculas.... i am still waiting to play a game as it is on about 80%......... it did move up quite quick one time but now it is stopped there.... it hasn't crashed though....

this is bad of nintendo to ++++ up!!!!!

hopefully i will be playing soon....

Mine took forever but it did finish eventually. I thought it was stuck but then I saw it move a tiny bit.

I reckon their server must be struggling with the number of Wii's going online :D

Anyway, stay with it - it is worth it in the end.
