Red steel has quite a good storyline but personally i think its quite hard to understand some of the japanease names, ive picked up and remembered a few names well but cant quite remember all of them.
What does everyone think about this games storyline? do you think its a really great storyline and doesn't need improving? or do you think more/less detail should have been used.
can i suggest moving the other larg-ish topic of redsteal to this thread.

The storyline isn't bad, it's not heavy and acts as an aid to drive the action along. The game has been getting a lot of stick about the voice acting, true it's quite hammy acting but I believe this to be deliberate. Although the acting is ropey it some how works in this game as it matches a lot of the Japanese action/martial arts dubbed movies that we see.
Not a classic game but a really enjoyable one that I'm glad I purchased. :D

Yeah also ive noticed that some times the character speeks to quickly and the dialodge needs to catch up, this doesnt really bother me but its sometimes hard to understand some of the characters.
Has anyone got up to the story when you rescue your fiance Miyu?
you know the new sword moves you can learn as you move through the game's storyline?, well they aren't all that good, i just use the 2 simple ones that break their sword. (one that jumps down on them and another that slashes their ankles).
what do you think, maybe they should have a better way of learning new moves.
don't get me wrong i love letting a whole clip of of uzi ammo into a croud of gang members. hehe heee.
tip when prosition shooting (ie maybe using pistol) holding A helps LOADS. it follows the enemy. i figured this out after shooting 3 guys with shotguns in the head. or was that flook.

Hehe, I'm one of those people that like my game on the stupidly hard side  I turned the enemy tracking off so now A just zooms in but doesn't follow. I still moan when I get killed though

im the same, try to take my time on all games so they last longer before I get bored of them...
I'm still on like the 3rd level, been going out too much lately and haven't been paying my wii enough attention.
the storyline isn't the best but it's ok, Its original in the way it shows the stories, like a audio comic book, it's just very annoying that you cant skip the cutscenes and the load times can get annoying sometimes.
