Monday Blues :(

Morning all, I've been ringing round the local (and not so local) Game stores and they're all very grumpy today. Apparently none of them are getting any new stock until Tuesday. This is in the midlands anyway.

Anyone got any tip-offs/hunches/funny feelings/voices in their head about where we might get a wii today?

i was first in GAME nottingham this morning but they didnt have any in at all. phoned up argos when i got in at about 9.30am, they guy on the other end say they werent expecting anymore until the end of the month, he said try ringing back after the 20th so it looks like your local GAME store is your best bet

Although not happy with game (they sold my pre order 2 days before xmas) I manged to get one from another game store last Thurs. The manager told me that they know what is coming in that morning so best to phone around 9.00-9.30. The store I got one from only got 3. My GF just happened to be in the shop when they came in. Just keep ringing, if there're grumpy, tough s**t, its what they get paid for.

Woolies is always a good bet. I went in to pick up Call of Duty yesterday (one of the Liverpool branches) and they had about 5 Wii's for sale stacked behind the counter. They're definately worth a try.

Tell me about it. This morning, I have phoned nearly every Game, Gamestation and Woolworths in the Greater Manchester area. The estimates for stock delivery range from end of week to the end of the month.
