I searched frantically for a Wii since mid December to no avail. Today, I decided to pop into my local town centre's HMV store at 09:15 am. They had one in stock. I am particularly delighted with the bundle that was offered: Console + Wii sports + any 3 games + 256MB SD memory card for £275.04. (The original bundle offered to me was the above but 'any 2 games', however, the store assistance said I can add one more game for £25). The total separate selling price would have been £319.87, thereby I have saved £44.83. Can anyone beat this offer?

Thats a pretty good offer - I think you'll struggle to top that, at least until the demand drops.

quite an average offer if you ask me mate - all Gamestation stores do wii + wiisports (obviously cuz its in the box) plus any 3 games for 269.99, and you can pick up 512 SD card from Asda or most other electronic stores for 10 quid, and a 1GB one for slightly more - yours is 256MB, and im sure you can pick these up for under 10 quid
So you saved yourself, what, 3 or 4 quid on your bundle bundle?
Im sure most deals out there at the moment will be the same, give or take a few quid - some may have 3 games for cheaper but they will be the crappy games - i know on launch night when i went down at midnight to my local gamestation - they were giving you 20 quid off any bundle if 1 of the games you chose was GT racing or Monster truck 4 x 4 (or 40 off if you took both) - so that means you could have had for 229.99 the wii, any game of your choice plus GT racing and Monster Truck - now thats a good deal!! (even although the two games mentioned are not very good)

Paid £170 for my Wii, and got Twilight Princess for £10 thanks to an amazon gift voucher I was sent for filling in some surveys whilst at Uni. Total cost =£179.99 for a console and the game. Not exactly a bundle deal, but still pretty nice. ;)

All swings and roundabouts to me really...
Bundle deals generally knock the average price of your bundled games by maybe 5 or 10 GBP.
But you can easily find the exact same games on online websites (maybe even on the hardware sellers) for with that saving e.g. Amazon, play etc.
Plus, some sites charge you delivery for your wii. So bundle or no bundle, it probably averages out to all the same.
The only "exception" was a site I saw selling the Wii itself for 175 GBP inclusive of P&P (but out of stock obviously!) Getting hold of one at the moment is good enough, let alone hunting for the best bundle deal imho. 8)
