A good 24 hours for the Wii

Well, I think i can speak for many on the forum when I say it's been a good 24 hours :D. Wii's have started trickling into stores, a few of us managed to bag some Wii's from BlahDVD yesterday. The virgin rush was a bit of a fiasco but that was predictable (think some still got one?). Gamestation was our first saviour with plenty of time/availability and a nice server (good price too, ?209 for Wii + game). Only minutes later, Amazon was open for a good 10-15mins selling Wii.

So now many of us have gone from having no Wiis to several (just in case :lol:).

Even did a good deed, I ordered Wii + Zelda from Gamestation since it was a good deal and am keeping the Wii for my friend til he comes back from Spain, just in case there are shortages. I feel so good having brought the happiness of Wii to others.

In conclusion, WII!

eh...a pretty much normal day for me :
came back from school to find out amazon were selling and a lot of people ordered one
parents telling me none in random shops they visit
called all local game stores but had none
bored to death doing homework

Ordered from gamestation. Confirmation arrived with games extra nunchuk but the wii said (item removed from order). so i cancelled the order. Now i have just got home to find a order cancelled email followed by an order confirmation with the reinstalled.
So close but no cigar!
