blue is the colour

Just noticed that last night i turned the wii off using the remote & the disc slot glowed blue, this is the first time its done it, is this normal??????? why doesnt it do it all the time? :?

It does this if you've received a new message from a friend so if you've recently been adding lots of friends and sending Mii's to people then maybe someone has sent you something back.

I'm not sure if anything else causes the light to stay on constantly - anyone else know?

It's a shame the light goes off again when you switch the Wii back on....it looks very cool if you have the lights off!

I think that putting on wii connect 24/7 turns the blue light on cus mines on and i havs no emails :)

Sometimes a system update causes the light I believe?
