GAME - Aaaarrrrrrgghhhh

After watching this forum for several days and missing various on line notifications I decided to ring 8 local game stores. Only Runcorn said they were expecting a delivery between 9-12. Drove down to Game and waited around the store until 12:00. When the delivery came there were no consoles. :cry:

The manager was very apologetic as there were now about 9 people in line waiting and hoping. However he took our details and is confident they will be in store tomorrow so hopefully those of us who spent all morning today will be rewarded with Wii tomorrow :)

that was really unlcuky to not get your wii from game. but i suppose it lead to you possibly getting your wii soon, so good luck anbhcc, you'l be pleased when you finaly do get your wii.

I'm not counting my chickens yet and I'm still going to do a ring round tomorrow just in case. I can always cancel the Runcorn one if I get lucky somewhere else. That way somebody further down the line will get a better chance

Still deflated, phoned all my local Game stores today. None of them had any stock in. Although I have managed to get a Wii Play from Game St Helens :D . Phoned Runcorn to check when their delivery was coming in but alas no Wii today. Still 1st in their queue for whenever they get stock. Made worse by evil bosses making me work this morning so I couldn't be on line on a day when it seemed there was a reasonable amount of stock available on the internet.

Just to finish this thread, Gotta a call at 9:30 this morning. GAME came through for me and I am know the proud owner of a wii in time for my Daughters birthday party this afternoon.
