I also ordered a game from Virgin last July. It said that it was in stock when I placed the order but at the end of August I received a cancellation email. In the email it said that I could phone up and re-order at the price it was shown at. I renewed it and at the end of September I received another cancellation. I re-ordered again and the same thing happened every month until I gave up in December.

Well iv been browsing these forums religiousley hoping to grab a Wii. I missed out on Virgin this morning but managed to get one in my basket at Gamestation. I put in all my details and payed.

Then i saw a message saying there was a problem with my details and my card had not been debited. Then i noticed that they only send to the card address. I moved house 3 weeks ago. Its 2 doors away from my old house >.<Same>.>

My Wii order has now changed from 'Ready to Deliver' to 'Backordered'...

I just rang Virgin and the usless gimp on the end of the phone said that they are still running a report to determine who ordered first, and we'll all know by the end of the day if we've been successful. Nothing more they can do. Also, they said as I didn't order until 10:30, it looks like I'm lower in the list... which is rubbish as I was on the site from 8.30 waiting for it to come into stock.

THIS SUCKS ****, especially as I've missed the Gamestation and Amazon order window.

I've just spoken to another useless gimp at Virgin and they have contridicted themselves again. Now they tell me there isn't enough stock for my order and I can either wait for more stock (although they don't know when they will get any) or cancel my order.

So I cancelled my order.

I told the gimp that I wasn't happy, but she didn't give a monkeys.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Now my niece is gonna be so upset. Especially as I told her she was getting one after the order status changed to 'Released for shipping'.
