Got my Wii from Argos on sunday morning, wouldn't have done so without the help I got from here.
For anyone looking to buy from Argos I dont think they reserve Wii's anymore, just ring one hour before store opening times on their automated stock check service. Try as many stores as you're willing to travel to and soon as you find one make sure you're there 5-10 mins before opening, thats what I did and im one happy Chappy.
