Having visited this site for ages I can finally post useful info. Just spoken to GAME in Islington this morn and if you ring 0207 2265260 they'll reserve one for ya today, no catches (I hope). I also wanted to say cheers to every1 here on the site as I wouldnt have been able to get one of these damn things if it wasnt for the useful info.

Thanks for the tip man. I work in south London so I considered reserving one and travelling up after work. You know if they are gonna make me buy a bundle or can I just get the console itself? And do you know when they close?

Nah, I could probably travel in my lunch break but it's a fair journey from Westminster. I'm not gonna die if I don't get a Wii today so I'll just wait til I can get one from retail a bit more conveniently or hopefully try and snag one online (only problem is I can't use the RSS tools or the page-change-checker at work because of the security gateway :(, so just relying on people posting online availability and getting lucky with refreshing the forum in time).

Sorry to reply so late but Ive only just got back. Yes, they were selling them individually which I guess is good news to other people trying to buy their system from GAME seeing as recently stores have only been selling bundles.

Oh and as long as you pick it up before closing, 6p.m, they'd save it for you. Im sure as they're getting less strict on these things here it might be the same for other GAME stores around the UK.

Well the guy behind the counter said that they got stock yesterday and today, so ya never know what will happen in the next few days. Oh and if you want to ring them, ring before opening as not many people Ive heard have done that. I rang at about 1/2 8, they open 9, I was first in line.
