These are a couple links to an eBay deal which is a brand new Nintendo Wii with Red Steel and Rayman (not Wii Sports though, for some reason or another). Quite a few people have brought this product and left positive reputation for the sellers.

They accepts PayPal, postal orders and personal cheque and it's £200 with post and packaging. It's apperently sent from China but the company that handles the purchases is based in Worcestershire - they guarantee a 20-day delivery and there is a 7-day return if you change your mind (for PayPal).

Sounds good for anyone desperately trying to get one.

This comes with Redsteel and Rayman - I thought, "yeah it will be in the stores but hey I get a £50 saving on a couple great games".

Just a thought.

I am really considering buying this. It still seems way too cheap though, what do you lot think?

Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole:!:

There is a small trickle of stock appearing at Game, Argos, Woolworths, eBuyer, John Lewis, etc, so I'm sure there will be more available within the next month. You have got everything to lose by having to pay cash up front and waiting 20 working days, especially if one turns up on the high street. In the end you pay your money and take your chance.

Yeah 20 days is a long time. I'm gonna leave it, it seems dodgy too the way the guy won't let you collect cos it's being imported... could be stolen lol.

WiiMe - I'm on the road tomorrow so I'll keep my eyes peeled. If I see anything I'll pick one up and give you first bite of the cherry.

I will of course expect £50 (profit) in used £10 notes  for my troubles!

Lol i can't afford that mate! I'm a poor student and at the moment I can only really afford to spend about £190 on a Wii. I've bid for quite a few off eBay for that much but i've had no chance. I'm just gonna keep looking i think, unless you want to be nice and sell one for £190... lol

I was joking - you can have it for what I paid. As I said I'm out and about anyway so might as well keeps my eyes open.

I am stuck in work Mon to Fri and since it's central London i doubt they let you reserve at places there :(. I missed both John Lewis times because I went to the toilet, and the 20mins I dared to leave my PC last night to get some food, ebuyer were selling them. I guess I'm just unlucky

Back on topic, I don't think these are stolen - they are imported from China so they probably have a colleague that can speak Chinese and just enters your details on a Chinese website and buys them for you for around £130, making a nice profit for themselves.

Anyway, please continue...

Hmm yeh, but surely that would be the Chinese model? The auction states that the model on sale is the UK PAL version. Thats the only reason why i thouhht that.

SP303 & WiiMe - I had a good look in Cardiff early this morning and couldn't find anything. Game tell me they did have deliveries (some were more helpful than others) and I just missed out on a console. HMV, Virgin, Toys R Us were all out :(

I've took the risk and bought one. I've used PayPal anyway, so i'm covered in theres any fraud. I don't believe that there is though because I did some quick internet research on Lets Talk Ltd and they are a genuine business based in northampton. Also, i think about 70 other people have bought it too. We'll see what happens lol.

It does look dodgy, and its 20 working days delivery, which is really 28 days. so you may not see it 'till mid february anyway.

I personally wouldn't touch it. None of the feedback even mentions wii's, they just say 'nice item' or something.

WiiMe

The guy says that that is the maximum delivery time, and he didn't want to state a quicker one just in case he gets bad feedback. I thought it was worth a shot anyway, now i can get on with revision instead of constantly pressing my refresh button on my browser!
I think its a genuine item - look at the amount of feedback he's had over the last 12 months for a variety of items.

I think it's half that it looks dodgy and half my natural distrust of anything on ebay that looks 'too good to be true'.

Let us know how it goes though, cuz if it's legit it's a cracking deal really :)

WiiMe

Lol i will do but i have a while to wait.

I also ordered it before I had posted on Wiifind. It suddenly put my mind at easy, I felt more relaxed and I managed to get on with other things I wanted to do.

And he also offers a refund if the item isn't at our doorsteps within 20 days. I'm hoping to recieve it within the next 14 days :)

I'll tell you how it goes. Also, I think he probably buys it for around £130 from China because it's real cheap there so he's probably making a massive profit that's why it looks "too good to be true".
