Guys/Gals

If you have an RSS reader (IE7 can do RSS), I have made a feed to check online stock. It checks the web sites every 90 seconds.

It is here (http://www.xmob.co.uk/wii_stock/wii.rss).

I know it works, 'cos it just picked up on the John Lewis stock that went in about 30 seconds flat. :D

I'm supposed to be working, but I will add more suppliers later this evening.

Let me know how you get on with it.

You'll have to keep checking it for the time being.

I'm also working on a stand alone application that will run on a PC. That will alert you.

That sounds excellent, the problem i have is being able to check all the websites when im working, but this might be ideal.

Nice one.

I've been testing a new script today that alerts you via MSN messenger if any stock indication changes.

It seems to be working ok, but I'm going to do more testing before releasing it. There's a potential for things to get really bad (network wise) if it goes wrong.

Watch this space.
