i suppose if you still have not managed to get your nintendo wii, you might still be tempted by e bay ?. but it would seem quite a lot of us on the forum have been lucky enough to get them from argos today, it would appear they are starting to come through in a bit better supply. those e bay people are still charging so much for them, please wait a bit longer and pay a genuine price for them. we have not played yet, my son's birthday is january 10 th, did not think i stood a chance in hell of getting one b4 then, but obviously did, my son will be well pleased. me also.

It's true. I got mine from Argos today. I'd considered eBay a few times, and I'm now glad I didn't go through with it. I now have the Wii here at the price it was meant to be at.

Keep trying Argos!

You know the number that you're ringing for Argos, is it the store number or that national automated thing?

I rang the store number, but some members rang the national one. Timing is key, really. Phone them at dead-on 9AM.

ebay prices seem to be lowering significantly. Some people are now even getting better deals on there :?

Actually, i was pretty happy with ebay. Found a good deal with 2 games and got it before Xmas. Did pay about 50 quid more than the RRP but in my eyes it was worth it.

I tryed to buy a wii off ebay and it was a complete waste of time. woman wanted me to do a bank transfer(no chance) as she didnt take paypal, so i just told her to relist it, no way am i taken that chance, probably get bad feedback aswell, typical when she being the b****!
