Hi guys
my arm is now well enough for me to type so I'm back at last, thank god, I have been really bored. I know I could have read the posts but I would have tried to reply so I figured I had better not. I have spent all night reading through all the posts I have missed. I didn't get the mark on the unread posts and had to search through them all checking the dates trying to find the ones I hadn't read, which meant it took me twice as long.

I actually need a favour off some kind soul. I am currently playing Super Mario Galaxy and am struggling badly with the boss fight for the centre of the universe after collecting 71 stars ( I hate boss fights 'cos I'm useless at them and they spoil the games for me), and have been trying for a few days now on and off but I just can't win. So, does anybody have a game save for this or does somebody want to be really nice to me and fight the git for me if I send the game and a copy of my game saves so far. Yeah, I know its a copout but I just can't do this one and its driving me mad. Also, the more I try with it the worse I get, I collected 24 lives yesterday before I started and lost every one of them. I am now getting ready to abandon the game before I even collect any purple coins. Please somebody, help me before the wiimote gets thrown through the TV screen in frustration.

Hey Suze

Good to hear the arms fit and well again, just take it easy with some of the more energetic Wii games, ;)

I can't remember how far I got with Galaxy, not played it for ages, but if you want send me a copy of your game save and I'll take the boss on. I'll pm with my e mail later.

Greetings local, glad your back, now to get the site back to where it was, :-D

Yeah, welcome back Local.

Thanks Wii Spark. Yep, my arms fit and well again. Well it was until this morning when I stupidly decided it would be ok to paint a wall. Stupid I know, but my sister was painting for me and I felt really guilty about just sitting about watching her work so I figured I would help.

Hi Suze, glad to hear you're okay. Wondered where you had been for the past few aeons :)

We've been playing through Galaxy again. Makes me so excited for the sequel next year. It can get very challenging in some of the later levels, but we have yet to get to the boss encounter again. Just two stars to get though and we're there. Forgot about the purple coins quest. We got to that stage before but didn't complete it fully.

Anyway, happy gaming. Take it easy and stop painting!!!!!!! :D

It'll be a while before I paint again I think, 'cos my arm is killing me and Phil's getting ready to do the same. Can't blame him really, I've spent weeks nursing the damned arm back to good health and then ruin it all in an hour. Oh well, I live and learn (sometimes).

I'm looking forward to the new Galaxy which is what prompted me to replay this one. I love the beginning of this and am enjoying all of it apart from the boss fights which as I have mentioned before I hate. I do think there should be an option in some games to skip the boss fights after about 5 attempts and that way people like me will enjoy the game better but people like yourself who probably have no trouble with them can play them as normal.
