Hope they sort out their reluctance to release another new game in this series on Wii. Being a fan of the series I'm so eager to see this come out. Resi 4 was perfect for the remote and nunchuk wasn't it? :)

I think Resi 4 was the peak of the series, time to lay the game to rest before it gets really bad as 5 is proving

The controls were absolutely spot on for Resident Evil 4. Since Resident Evil 5 is similar the controls would work just as good.
The main thing that I'm finding difficult is using the knike on the PS3 controller whereas on the wiimote it was just so easy.

Think its hard to judge just on a demo... but from what I've seen its not as good as Resident Evil 4... I think that was a lot more eerie..
But maybe the full game is lot better... but looks like capcom have focused more on the co-op which I'm still not too sure about....

I still prefer Resident Evil on Gamecube for the haunting atmosphere. Wasn't so overly gung-ho.

I find the intense gameplay too hard with the flawed controls on this one. Can't shoot unless you look down the sight first? Can't run and shoot at the same time? It's really not suited to this game. Too many enemies and not enough controllability.
They've gone backwards with this game.

not liking it all aswell. Too much zombies for a stater...no ammo when needed...shooting controls are terrible

Just goes to show visuals aren't everything. Resi 5 looks amazing but plays like a dog! I agree Junior - too many zombies. I actually prefer those old versions with static screens. You know the ones - where you can hear something in the distance but have to walk down a looooong corridor first to see it. Brilliant stuff!
Left 4 Dead is a much better zombie game for the current gen, with a good mix of dark atmosphere and gun play. Love the whole co-op thing too. You really have to work as a team to get through alive (team mates have to cover every angle because you never know where they'll come from next) :D Zombies attack from different places every time you play too!
This is where people should be spending their cash at the moment.

Agree with everyone else really too many enemies with the control scheme.
I was thinking of getting Resi 5 or dead space. Looks like its dead space for sure now.

Resident Evil 5 always had the system for walking and gunning, if you were to run and gun it would take out the gaming intensity out and the game will be approached much easier without any horror.
Because the most important part of the game is when your about to shoot and when you do you cant see behind you because you need to shoot in front and in order to do that you need to fully stop. Has anybody done Mercenaries in that so far?
