When they say the middle of January/February/March or whatever the party line is now they are just trying to get you off their backs and it's when they'll be expecting them in bulk. The GAME stores (and a few others) are getting them tricking in, between two to five consoles at least a few times per week. You just have to keep calling them every day (before 9am) and ask the question.
