How desperate are you??!!

I've probably only been trying half as hard as anyone else here (20 or so phone calls a day and a few hours a day on the web) to get one, but let me ask you this:

Why are there loads (and I mean LOADS) of new boxed systems on Ebay, but none in the shops?

Are shop staff buying them up as they come in and then flogging them for £250 on Ebay??

Call me an old sceptic, but.............

PERSONALLY I'm not going to encourage the Ebay sellers because I think many of them are doing this, and I think they are taking the p**s!!!

Its an interesting theory but a bit far fetched compaines ahve procedures agianst this sort of thing since all these employees get discounts its all trachd to make sure there not selling on the side. 8)

just be patient i know its hard but you have to try just keep checking here everyday and fingers crossed.

anyway by the end of jan most shops will have them in for £179.99 so save your self the money and buy games for your wii when you get it.

Maybe this seller was lucky enough to have 14 relatives buy him one for Christmas???!!!

Many of these sellers have 5+ units - they didn't just get lucky and have a second order filled.

I'm sure that shop workers are getting them and selling them because the guy at the local tesco express told me when I asked if he had any in, he said what stock they have gets bought up by staff before it goes on the shelves! Shocking. I suppose i can't prove they are selling it on, but it sounds like it. I'm not going to buy on ebay. Even though I want to!

i don't support ebay scammers, but not everyone who sells things is a scammer, the guy was very helpful and was ok with the fact I said no, didn't try to push a sale...

he said he bought his for £260 and was looking to try and get the same to break even, not sure if i believe that though......

It's because these ***** who sell them on eBay preorder dozens of them, stopping people who actually want the consoles from getting them at a fair price and on time.

thanks god i never went for this yesterday ... managed to get one from argos in paisley today.

called cust services early this morning who reserved it for me over the phone...
