The WiiFind Christmas Challenge

Ladies and gentlemen, I need game ideas for a Christmas challenge. For those who weren't around for the monthly challenges, WiiFind members suggested a game and then competed for the high score. Screenshots were posted as evidence either in the relevant thread, (which will be this one) or were PM'd to me by sneakier members.

Since it's Christmas, the Amazon voucher prizes are:

First place - £50
Second place - £30
Third place - £20

Suggestions please! The challenge will close on 21st December.

I think Wiifit is a perfect idea. Most wiifind people has it. It 100% mii proof, And it will not only show who good at the game but if their physique is perfect.

Could I suggest a thread-game competition for those not able to take part in the wii game challenge? Perhaps a caption competition or something?

You actually dont have the right to say anything like that. You havent been here long enough to know that this time last year we had believed a member had cheated on a game to win a challenge. Which is why the Admins ask for wii evidence! If they didnt then bloody hell I could search the net and print screen someones score off Youtube!!!!(Comeon think!)

Plus I know a few people have wii fit and no it isnt a boring game. Tbh it isnt a game. Its a leisure thing. So you still dont have the right to call it something you dont know what it is.

1 more thing is that you only been here like 3 months or more and the thing is you dont know who actually has wii fit. So you cant talk.

And we also establish that on Mario kart you can use cheat, Mega Shortcuts so that kicks it out the idea like Guitar Hero.

Im not having a go at you kryn Im just stating what in my mind to let you know in the future

Everyone on the forum has this game as it came with the console so we all get a fair crack at the prizes and I would guess and say that none of us/not many of us have played this for a while which makes it fairer still.....whose in?

But theres one thing. All of those events. We've done them in challenges in the year 2007.....Just thought something new could be done. but I still dont mind doing that.

Just one...Is that we have too little time for 4 events lol. It wouldnt work out. Say Someone got the best result on 1 of them but none on the others it wouldnt be fair because they would go without nothing.

So i think it should be kept on one thing. Anyone agree?

Junior, how long does it take to hit 10 golf balls and then throw 10 bowling balls.....by covering 4 events this makes its fair for all, I like the golf target practice game but I'm not that hot on bowling, the results should be interesting as they are all added together to give one result, by covering 4 events your sure to please most if not all...also if your going to post one picture you may aswell post another 3 whilst your at it :D

you say the events were done in 2007 but not all in one challenge, hence the term Olympics - a collection of events

Also We know who has the high score in previous challenges. Which we were un able to beat so basically those same people could just post their score and everyone would be stuck trying to meet it again. As they done it 6 months ago. You said every1 wii sport is un touched well the person who won the challenges with the high score before isnt going to play it just going to take there old wining photo and post it up......

Its up to you guys...my reasons seem stupid to you lot...

No one's attacking you, Junior. Your points are completely valid and a few need to be discussed. Here's my 2 cents:

1) To make sure brand spanking new scores are posted, here's a new requirement: when you post your score you must also include a sign with your screen name or date on it. It's not too arduous a requirement.

Edit: As Covey says, this can be a newspaper, magazine, or something showing the date.

2) When we ran the competitions back in the day, we introduced the rule that you can't win more than three times in a row. I know who past winners are and this rule is still in place.

the results from all four events will be added together to give one result eg.:

Home Run = 10 Home Runs (10)
King Pin = 200 Pins (200)
Bags of Punch = 18 (18.)
Bullseye! = 49

TOTAL SCORE = 277

Bob = 299............................Bob gets the First Place Prize, Jonny Second and so on...........
Jonny = 297
Andrew = 289
Joanne = 277

I like the idea of a caption competition, not just because it was my (admittedly brilliant!) idea but because it's something anyone could have a pop at at any time of the day or night and without needing to be in front of a wii. I also think it will be a lot of fun too!

Apart from bowling on wii sports I've hardly played this so look forward to having a crack at the challenges.

So you cant submit old score from the front of the mini game when it start.. it has to be at the end when you finshed with paper near sayin date or sumtin......Excellent:D

I dont think the caption will be needed now. Good idea im sure we can use it in the future...but this is wiifind. Challenges for wii games and everyone owns wii sports so its not something some1 will miss out on.

Would I be excluded? I know I won the last couple but can't recall exactly how many times. I don't mind giving it a miss for the new blood. That's my dedication to the site ;)

On another note, how about having a thread for a think tank, where if anybody has an idea for a competition, no matter how basic, it can be posted as and when and refinded to what people want. That way the general ideas are in place when a competition is announced.
