Folks, Argos are starting to receiving regular dribs and dabs of stock, the thing is they are only letting you order/reserve at night via the website - you will then be able to go into the store the following day to collect. I have a relative who is a manager there and explained the process to me, i was able to get a wii myself yesterday because of this.

Basically, check the argos site for avialability in the evening/night

I got told the same thing yesterday in Argos, Bromley. She told me the website stock updated at midnight so to try then. I didn't believe her but tried anyway between about 11 - 1am. Nothing!! No stock all night.

I'm not sure what times to be honest, i'll try and find out, I managed to get it from a store in Droitwich which is just a little inbred town, they received 6 yesterday. So i would have thought the bigger stores would have got more stock??

a close friend of mine, ordered it at 8am yesterday from the argos website, (which by the way he says is when he notices they have them in stock generally) and it arrived today, so keep trying people, just luck really

just got off the phone with argos customer services. as soon as i even mentioned nintendo wii, she did not heitate to tell me that it would not be stocked for at least another couple of weeks. she wouldnt even do a store check or anything, she was that certain. (she actually sounded like she was getting fed up with nintendo enquires).
as mentioned before, i really wish they could get their story straight between them
