View Full Version : CAN ANYONE GET TO GAME STORE BROMLEY HIGH STREET, KENT?
If anyone can...I have a nintendo wii bundle on reserve in my name...the bundle consists of one extra remote(needed anyway for two to play) and two games of your choice...I do not need another wii...just trying to help out you guys on here...the total cost is £290...might seem a lot but if you can buy on credit card...you can always sell the extra bits on ebay as the remotes are hard to get anyway....please PM if interested...need to know within next couple of hours?
How did you get one reserved? If I ring my local Game shop(s), is there a chance they'll hold one when they get them in again? Or did you get this reserved today?

BTW Now that I own a Wii, I have no more use for WebMon, which is a handy little app that checks websites. I think quite a few people are running such things. I had a Wii in my basket on Wednesday from John Lewis but couldn't pay fast enough and was beaten to the punch.

Yep. All you have to do is enter the John Lewis url (http://www.johnlewis.com/Computing/Gaming/Gaming/Consoles/4988/230407665/Product.aspx) and it will tell you when the page has changed. You can do the same for Play and Argos and Amazon etc. etc., but for Amazon you need to change what it searches for. I set it to check for differences between "customer reviews)" and "used & new)". The downside of this is that any time somebody flogs one via Marketplace, you'll be alerted that the page has changed. I'm sure a bit of tinkering with the settings would help.
