Mate you're a star!

I went to Manchester this morning to try and get one from Game. I arrived in town for 8:45 and then rang the 2 in the Arndale Centre. One said they weren't getting any today and that I should try next week, the other said they were getting a delivery about 12 and would know then. So I went to the Food Court to sit and wait till 12. As it's near Argos I thought I'd try on the off chance when they opened if they had any. So at 9 I went down to check the stock, no luck so I went back up to the food court. I read a bit of the paper then thought I'd check back on here on my phone and saw your post. I bombed it down to Argos and reserved the one in Hulme. I then went round all the electronics shops looking for Wii Play but no luck so I got a taxi down to Hulme to collect it. Even on the way down I wasn't totally convinced I'd get one. So when it arrived I was well chuffed. I then got the bus back to town to get an RGB cable and Call Of Duty. Had to go to all the same shops again to get an RGB cable but sorted now and just got home and I'm thanking you before I've even set it up, have fun with yours!

wots an RGB cable? got my wii from argos 2day 2. I rang this morning and the lady was really helpful, looking in lots of different stores. finally she found one in croydon and reserved it for me!! so excited, already been playing. couldnt have found it with out you lot though x

RGB cable gives better quality than the standard scart if your TV can support it.

I picked up my Wii this morning from Manchester (Hulme). This was only made possible by the excellent info i recieved from this site. I rang Argos this morning at 9ish and there was 1 in Hulme and 3 in Ancoats. Apologies for the late post but i didn't waste any time jumping into my car and bombing up the motorway from Liverpool to collect. Think the key is to keep plugging away and to ring first thing. Argos by the way were excellent, they even rang up the store in Hulme for me to double check there was pyhsical stock there.
