Great news this if it's true, so thought I'd share in case there are other fans of the series out there:
It looks like classic adventure game Broken Sword could be on its way to Wii and DS, if a ratings website listing is anything to go by, which they usually are.
According to the German classification website USK (spotted by Gamefront (http://www.cubed3.com/news/10877)), Broken Sword has been approved for release on Nintendo consoles under publisher Ubisoft. It also means it probably hasn't got any decapitations or harsh language in it.
Revolution's series previously saw release on the Gameboy Advance, so a DS version has been long overdue to say the least. We also reckon it'll work great with fancy Wii Remote controls.

I forgot to have a look at this earlier, but I can't believe you can download it for free :o I bought the game on the GBA years ago and couldn't put it down till I'd finished it. I'd love a version on the Wii :D
And thanks, Local. I'll check it out when I'm back on the PC tomorrow eve :)

It'd be good to see it sell well on Wii, then maybe we could get a couple more from the series. That'd be cool :)

Ubisoft will publish a special edition remake of Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars on Wii and DS.
The new 'Director's Cut' version of the game is said to build on the original, with new narrative "interwoven with the first story", according to Ubisoft.
"New puzzles have been added for Nintendo DS and Wii that specifically utilize Nintendo's unique control methods. The game also features stunning animated facial expressions drawn by Dave Gibbons, the artistic genius behind the comic book and upcoming movie, Watchmen," says the official blurb.
The game kicks off with you controlling photo-journalist Nicole Collard "who witnesses the brutal and horrifying murder of one of Paris's richest and most influential statesmen."
"During her investigations, which feature exclusive new locations, Nico meets amiable American George Stobbart, who has been unwittingly caught up in the sinister and bloody theft of an ancient manuscript. Together, they are drawn into a terrifying conspiracy rooted in a long-forgotten medieval legend."
From what we remember, Shadow of the Templars was all good, so put this on your 'ones to look forward to' list. Both versions are due next March.

Am I right to think that this will be both of the old games rolled into one lovely game? If so then this will be a must own game.
