Spam

There seems to be a sharp rise in spam this afternoon, some of which have featured ****ographic images! Wiifind does not condone this sort of thing and the moderators are banning them immediately.

Please report any spam by PM'ing a moderator (huzzellio, munkle, the localuk, wiispark etc) ASAP to ensure we do not miss anything.

We do our best and I'm glad others don't usually get to see this stuff. Today we have banned eight people!!

Like I said though, if others do happen to find spam etc that we somehow don't pick up on please let us know :)

Unfortunately as some of you may have gathered the spamming is still going on.

All spam seems to be heading into this site support and feedback section of the forum. I suggest that you veer away from this section for a while if you don't want to see anything vulgar!

Good work mods, have noticed loads of spamming last couple of days but a couple of minutes later..... vanished! :o Now that's what I call good work! :D

It is so annoying though when you think the site is getting 'New Members' and all it is, is jerks who have nothing better to do than spam the crap out of our fab little community we have going on here! :mad:

Anyhow, great job guys, keep it up! ;)

I now approve all new members. I don't want this to deter any legitimate lovely people who want to join, but I'd rather put up this minor barrier than see WiiFind ruined by spambots.

I've seen this method used on many popular forums. I don't think it will put too many people off :)
