As a consumer I resent the way we have been treated by Nintendo. The constant TV advertising for a product that you can't get only frustrates people even more. Consumers are angry, shops are angry and the only other choice we have is to go the the scum on ebay, who have now created a black market because of the actions of Nintendo. Why haven't Nintendo made an effort to stop this? It's a total and utter shambles, I always thought better of nintendo, now i'll rip them off at any opportunity. Lets hope the wii is cracked and wii can exact our revenge.

in all honesty I dont think they imagined it would be so popular...they are being delivered in dribs and drabs and it is well worth the wait believe me!

i agree with DAN there, as it wouldnt take much to put large sign up in window sayng "no Wii in stock" now would it, that way we would see that they got no stock & go to next shop

It's better than when the first PS2's were released. With that one people pre-ordered with their little pink slips and were told that they wouldn't have it on launch even though they were told they would. To be honest the Wii is hard to get admittedly but shops are getting some regularly and most people are getting them after some perserverance.

I don't think Nintendo were expecting such demand (nobody did really), these things just happen.

WE CAN ALL HELP EACH OTHER TO GET OUR WII WII'S....AS I SAID...THEY ARE WELL WORTH THE EFFORT AND I DONT THINK IT WOULD TAKE ANYONE MORE THAN A FEW DAYS TO GET ONE IF THEY KEEP PHONING GAME/TESCO EXTRA STORES

Play should be blamed for the amount of pre-orders they took, that is bad! At least Amazon only release what they have.

I kept clicking on Amazon to get mine and suddenly it appeared in stock so never give up, it'll happen.

i went HERE (http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-bt-49-en-70-p6f.html)

but it show's it as JAP version, god this is such a pain in the **** so you could buy it @ cost of £204 but then there is no guarentee that it would run any PAL game's

hmm after readin that GEEK stuff im not 100% convinced ..............

so if you buy in the EU, then your ok......... but if you buy outside the EU then
that switch's to NTSC machine, with a slim chance it may work on your TV?

im now 99.8% sure that if a Wii is bought within a EU country then it will work, im tempted to put my money where my mouth is, as my mum live's in spain & she is going to buy me one so even it dont doesnt work here in the UK i will be able to use it over there or sell it over there on the spanish ebay site
