I just called my local store, they had a couple in on Tuesday but no more this week. The guy was really helpfull, tol me his delivery's normally come in around noon and if they had one when I called he would hold it for me.

Woolworths had some available online today (not sure how many but they were available for about 20 minutes supposedly). I got a message from a friend telling me about it and i managed to get in there quick enough. Basically i got lucky cos when i finished my order and went back to check if they were still selling them they said 'out of stock' again.

as i just GAME & i was told there not taking any more pre order's as there fed up with the amount of pre order's out wieghing the stock's they get in


so it's just a matter of 1st come 1st serve, which i thought was bit harsh as in Bristol weve got 5 store's in Bristol & it can take a good 30 min's to get to one store

I've had similar issues with game they wont let me reserve i have even offered to pay for the console on the phone and pick it up on my way home. i can see why they wont allow pre-orders there would be thousands but if i offer to pay by card as well.. :( just going to have to wait

that's a bit harsh i know, as if your the other side of town ( as im sure anybody who is in the bristol area will understand what im talking about )
& you want to get in to the town center, you could be lookin at 30 min drive plus parking so you really dont stand a chance

so they tell you yes we got 2 or 3 in stock so you race there & by the time youve done all that other stuff, youve missed out!! >.<

BUT if they were to take credit card on phone that would secure it, guess that's to easy huh?

well i will tell anybody in the BRISTOL area how my search goes :D

1st place im hitting will be the mall at cribb's causeway GAME, dixon's,curry's, virginmegastore's

then will head into town & blitz galleries , GAME, woolie's, virgin (again )

but i dont hold out much hope, as GAME refuse's to put aside a unit no matter how far away you are or what you offer IE: credit card detail's over phone or full payment
