How are you getting on with it, Spotter? Have you cleared Mirror mode yet? It's gonna be a pain getting 3 stars on all those courses.

You get a ranking after each cup right? if you get a 1 star ranking for each cup in every cc class. It'll show 1 star by your name online.

Same goes for 2 and 3 stars.

i've almost got 2 stars myself, but i can't be bothered.

hey well done, might work on getting myself 1 star tonight. Just been soooo lazy lately ;) It's always tempting to have a Ghost Race, or play a competition, or maybe have a few goes online. Nintendo have created the ultimate in replayable games with this Mario Kart :D

I just need to get a star ranking at two mirror cups for my 1st star ranking. Narrowly missed out tonight by being ... well, quite rubbish in my races! But nevermind, there's always tomorrow :)

managed to get a 1 star ranking tonight, so very happy with that. Need to work on 2 stars now. Found it quite easy tonight, whereas last night it was the hardest thing ever. Weird.

UPDATE.....THE STIG WEARS DUNGAREES! yay! unlocked all 32 staff ghosts at last:D the dungarees dont suit the stig though, looks better in the overalls. will wear them tonight just for you guys though:D note to self....must get life:D

can someone change this thread to 'spotters karting capers' pls, then i update it as i go:p ok, after last nights forum slug fest (its like brawl with karts:D ), i decided to set myself yet another goal. and what better than to have a nice gold wheel to match my shiny stars? due to the classic and GC controllers my wheel usage has gone down to 7%:o started nailing the grand prix on every vehcile, poor old stig, covered in bumps and bruises kept over correcting)....now i remember why i dislike rainbow road. will have to wait and decide if i use it for saturdays fun fest, could be a laugh for you lot though:D

Hey good luck with that Spotter. I know what you mean about the bumps and bruises, suffered a few injuries out there on the track last night. Lava burns, singed eyebrows ... You know what it's like. Thankfully no skid marks though :roll:

It almost upset me when my wheel usage dropped to 99%. That beautiful 100% never to return :(

Spotter. On your journey to (3)Stardom I wondered if you could tell us your thoughts on how 3 Stars are awarded, is it based on Time? or Perfect Races (ie no hitting Penguins, Crabs, Crates or Fire Rings or having mis-timing the start) or is it something else???

basically the perfect racing. not hitting anyone or anything, or falling, getting hit by as few items as possible and being in the lead for 99% of the time. its strange really sometimes ive got 3 when i thought i should have had 2 and visa versa. ive only got 2 cups in mirrior mode left. unfortunate;y due to personal circumstances i havent got a wii now:( no racing for me for a while:mad: :(

as most of you know ive had to start from scratch. got 3 stars in the first 2 cups (50cc) and been in first place 98% and won 8 out of 8:D im sure there was less blue shells on the old one:rolleyes:
