MK Tournament Suggestions

Please feel free to suggest any ideas you may have for the regular Mario Kart Tournament which is held every Saturday night, for example you might want to suggest a theme for the night with a list of particular tracks to suit the theme, so here's the thread to do it, let your creative juices flow!

Just want to confirm my support for the resetting of the leaderboard points every four weeks, I think it will keep the challenge fresh and exciting. Maybe we could incorporate a battling contest after the 8 races have been completed? It doesn't have to have points attributed to it.

All sounds good to me aswell and yeah I think we need to add some battles to the tournaments, we all have our strengths and weaknesses, so I feel the usage of points with Battles could make the end results more exciting, the battles could be scored as per the game giving each person more of an incentive to score highly individually and not as a team member, odd or even number of participants, red or blue team it won't matter too much....

Regarding a future theme I've come up:
VILLAGE PEOPLE
Using tracks which include either a village or something you would do in a village (go shopping, drive to work etc) I've come up with following Tracklist:
Track 1 = Delfino Square
Track 2 = Peach Beach
Track 3 = Daisy Circuit
Track 4 = Coconut Mall
Track 5 = Mario Circuit
Track 6 = Moonview Highway

Mii Competition: Come to the lobby as a member from the bands famous Y.M.C.A song.

or how about:

SANDCASTLES
Track 1 = GBA Bowsers Castle 3
Track 2 = Dry Dry Ruins
Track 3 = N64 Bowsers Castle
Track 4 = DS Desert Hills
Track 5 = Bowsers Castle
Track 6 = GBA Shy Guy Beach

Mii Competition: Come to the lobby as a Beach Bum or Surfer Dude/Dudette

lol funny idea although im a bit young for this, a bit of topic i know but if this brawl thing goes ahead i was thinkinf of putting character and stage and item limitations in from time to time, anyone in disagreement?

Bravo! :D Brilliant ideas. I think we should definitely give it a go in the near future. I like the idea of getting points from battles and these little Mii competitions, bit of an incentive to get more involved in it. I just hope people embrace the idea rather than think 'nope, can't be arsed'. Witha bit of effort these things could be excellent, and extremely amusing if done right ;)

And Ben, although we don't have the game yet I can see where you're coming from. Why not set up a thread for it, and we'll get some ideas together :)
