Are you impressed with Nintendo's dedication to the Virtual Console service?

The title speaks for itself. From my regular jaunts through electronic space I've noticed a great split in the views of gamers who feel extremely satisfied with the copious amount of games on offer, to those who feel Nintendo haven't really committed themselves fully to the service i.e. by not providing a greater number of updates regularly, particularly since the dawning of WiiWare.

What do you think?

Okay okay, should have expected that from you, ape boy! ;) Lol! But I agree, we need more N64 games. I want DK64, Beetle Adventure Racing, Jet Force Gemini (which I missed 1st time around) and many others I can't remember. Feel free to remind me, Mr Perfect (Eric: as if you need telling) :p

Can't complain with what I've downloaded so far. It saves having to dig out the old SNES & setting it up. (Bit of pain getting the av cables into the back of a wall mounted tv, :D )

Anyway i´d like to see most rare games on on the VC....to bad we´ll never see goldeneye on there.

rare games were great, weren't they? I'd love to see Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie on VC. I miss those games sometimes.

And I share your opinion, Sparky. That was the one thing that annoyed me, dragging out the old consoles from the loft/cellar. It took more effort to dig out the old console than to play it! ;)

No doubt about it, its awesome and way ahead of PSN and Xbox Live as far as retro releases is concerned.

There are so many classics to choose from I'm amazed some people think they're being neglected, or that they're getting a bum deal (and believe me, there are some extremists who curse Nintendo for this service). Your comment reflects how I feel about it. :)

I didn't expect half of these games to ever be readily available for purchase again. So it's great isn't it? Thank god for civilised people like us, eh, who know when we're on to a good thing? ;)
