Wii is usually yellow (sorry!) but here's a picture of all the different coloured Wiis. I prefer the red one. Although with red Wii you'd probably want to visit a doctor (sorry again, too many puns!)

When are the other colours being released? It looks as though the 8th Dec launch date only includes white.

All consoles released on the 8th will be in white only. There is still no word as to when the other colours will be released. I would expect they use it at a later date to drive more sales. Lets hope they arnt like apple who charge more for black coloured laptops!

Out of interest, can you wait for other colours or are you going to go for it anyway?!

i don't mind the white colour anyway, think it looks quite modern.

i think it also depends on what colour the remote goes with. don't think green, red or yellow will, so eithe platinum, black or white.

Well I'm a bit of a style freak, and my whole living room is filled with shiny black products. I have a 40" Samsung TV with their trademark shiny black case, a matching surround sound system, PC with the same trait, and will be getting the black PS3 too.

So yeah, I'm looking to wait for the shiny black Wii :)

Oh yes - I soooo look forward to being able to go High Def - if only we had proper High Def now, rather than the 3/4 High Def they are flogging off as Top End High Def now.

I would rather see PC style monitors being used.... My old CRT View Sonic went up to 1900 or 2000 odd by about 1600 - I had the GF220, which was a kick ass 20" monitor - but coz it was CRT it took up a lot of desk space and weighed a bomb.

But the High Def TV's are sooo slow! They are like 25 - 30 ms response time, whereas you can get a much higher res monitor for less, and it will have at most a 12 ms response time....

So why can't they scrap the scart cables, HD TV etc and use computer style connectors etc.... I love the fact that you have to screw the connector home, so that it won't fall out like scart cables do if you move something.

Oh well...

I will go high def sometime nearer the end of this decade, or sometime like 2012, when HD is properly established, cheaper and better. I can't afford to replace my Sky Box, my DVD recorder, my this and my that.... Plus the fact that you can only get 2 scart ports at most, and I want 3, but I don't want to pay out £2,000 plus on a TV...

Even the Nintendo Wii scart lead is a rip off at £23 - what a bloody joke... I'm using the rgb and rgb2scart connectors supplied with the Wii, and this is a good enough picture for me.

As to the colour of the Wii - I think the black one is best, but I would like to see a dark blue one....

But then you can always buy a Decal skin for your console can't you!

Only problem I have with white is that it shows ALL the dirt, dust etc that gets on it through use and the console from sitting in the open.....

The Silicon skins for the remotes are crap, as dirt still gets in and then when you need to change the batteries you have to struggle with the damn things....

You just run redsn0w RC16c again over your existing Jailbreak. Yesterday, the update server was down from time to time. Today, I don't get the "server unavailable" message anymore when checking for updates, but it doesn't display any app updates in iTunes (on Windows) either, even though I know there are some available (the AppStore on the iPhone displays some updates). I've had my iPhone 4 for 6 days and this happened to me yesterday. I can't remember if I was accessing the AppStore (yes, Microsoft, the app store) or not.. However, I did notice that I had been dropped from 3G to Edge which I thought was weird, and then got the error.. I did a hard reset and it solved problem. Verizon isn't allowing upgrades, so I'm stuck with my extremely crappy dumb phone, a Samsung Intensity.
