Yeah, just spoke to five midlands stores and they all had some degree of stock delivery today, and all sold out quickly.

Yep - Went to my local game in the Midlands. Rang them at 9.20, got there at 10 and had all sold out. Missed them by ten minutes!! Gutted.

Got mine in GAME in Dorchester, Dorset at 9.30am. :D They had 4 in this morning and had 2 left as of 10am !! sorry couldn't post this info earlier as the works firewall wouldn't let me until lunch !!! ... might be worth a shout, but I wouldn't hold your breath :oops:

Just got mine in Durham, 11am, and they still have 2 left! So if you're anywhere near there, they said they were having a "quiet day" - they're probably the only place who haven't sold out this late in the day!

I agree. I was annoyed seeing as they said I couldn't order it/buy it over the phone and I couldn't even reserve it for half an hour. Ah well, it looks like stock is trickling in here and there so I'll just have to keep trying.

I got one from the Reading game at about 11:00 this morning. They still seemded to have some left. It was the GAME on broad street.

Amazes me how the Game stores policies differ so much...my local Barnet store will hold for at least half and day and will sell console on its own...yet others are like the Gestapo! :roll:

it seems to me that get yourselves to your local game store today people. Dorchester, where I got mine, is a small rural market town and pretty quiet, so you never know. The 2 might be left ??

Dundee has 2 stores, both got stock of around 10 each and were sold out within less than half an hour but were very helpful.

I phoned Perth which is only 25 miles away and he said he had 2 left in stock. I asked no!! BEGGED!!! him to reserve one for me, pay by card over the phone anything but he said no, he couldnt and it was first come first served. I knew by time I got there they would be gone!

I've tried all the other main stores PC World, Comet, John Lewis etc today and none have stock :( guess my wee lass is gonna have to wait a bit longer

Just got mine from Hammersmith (phoned 4 games in sw london-the other 4 had none)-they had 3 in today (all gone now). They wouldnt reserve one, so I rushed as fast as the london underground will go and waited round for 2 hours to get one (actually after 20mins the manager relented and let me go to Starbucks).

A big thanks to this forum-wouldnt have known to phone game every morning without it.

Still cant find one in the Bromley area!Its so hard,i thought the rush wouldve calmed after Xmas!Please keep sending in any stock details guys,there are those of us who still cant buy our Wii!

is Bromley near Bluewater as they had them in the Virgin shop the other day...mate told me...is there not a Game store near Bromley?...Game gets a few every day so keep trying early on :wink:

Theyd have been gone in minutes!I think you literally need to know where theyre gona be the minute a shop has them to stand any chance!

if you have a Tesco Extra near you I call every couple of hours and have been lucky so far for friends and posting on here...they get around 10 in and sell within 10 to 30 mins...but if you phone and they have them and can get up there then there is a good chance...you just have to keep checking the sources every day.

The problem is that i have a job so I can't sit outside my local Game store every morning hoping to get one.
It seems that the only people who will be able to get hold of one in the near future are the unemployed and students!! :wink:

Thats exactly the same problem im having,only a HMV near me and its rubbish!So by the time i can get to a shop theyre gone...

I work...but some of the Game stores will hold for the day or at least half a day...do you not know a friend or neighbour who you could trust with the cash who would be able to go and get for you if they come in?

Yeah but its a case of finding them and being allowed to hold one.I called Game at 9.30 like their guy told me to the day before and theyd sold their stock already that morning...

i'm in northern ireland and quite alot of shops near me but nearly all slod out. my cousin works in woolworths and everyone has got their pre orders but they arent getting any more wii's until march!
