pritty much everyone must know that super smash bros brawl is gonna be linked to the internet, but what about other games, anyone know anything at the mo?

well link and roy are my best characters. when i am playing rule with cousin on melee you can only be one character once i usually go back up with samus, cap falcon, ness and young link and a few more but usually when i get to the fur balls i didn't do so well. well as for brawl i think i could do well with wario because i like a lot of his games and can play with him quite well.

Ganondorf was awesome in SSB Melee. Being Kirby was also much fun, as was Pikachu, with the thunderbolt thingy.

nah you all got it wrong Dr.mario was the best he pillpoped all the way and done the same things as mario but a lot more funnier

cant wait for this game(ssb), hearing that its gonna be online is music to my ears! haven't played SSB before so take it easy on me when we're having the games, snake should rule in it, though Luigi will always be my fave.

No good news I'm afraid. A couple of days ago Spong.com spoke with SNK US boss Ben Herman with regards to their games being added to the VC download catalogue.
He gave away a couple of titbits of information which makes for an interesting read.....one comment was
"Nintendo is still not letting Wii third-party publishers include online capabilities in their games and it doesn't look like they will during 2007. So the best chance they have at building an online presence appears to be what they're doing with Virtual Console."
Basically that translates to no online games until 2008 from third party developers.

Well, Metroid prime, SSBB, Battlion wars, Pokemon and animal crossing are said to be online. Prime, SSBB, battlion wars, pokemon and possibly animal crossing are all coming out this year. Not sure on the dates though.

That sucks, but thanks for info. I loved smash bro on the N64, got melee when I got my Wii and hav'nt played much yet. Will get myself back into that series now in the run up to brawl as I think we got some serious players on here. If this is only way we can all play each other this year (i'm not counting pokemon) then I am now as exited about it as everyone else about it. I'm sure EA sports are keen to give us some of their sports franchises online enabled.

Thats right, Nintendo are holding out on third party developers to ensure they get their online games out first. So we lose out to loads of other online games until 2008. Some developers are planning to turn some VC games into online multiplayer games.
On top of this Ninty are not allowing third party developers access to the Mii's, so only Nintendo can use them in their games.

Rumour just out suggests we will see Mario Strikers Charged released on May 25th in Europe. If this is true then this will be Europes first online game via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and not Pokemon as we we're expecting. :D
