Hello all,

I'm a newbie in the world of Wii and was wondering if any of you guys could give me suggestions for suitable games for a 3/4 year old?

Cheers!:)

There are quite a few games with a 3+ rating.
e.g. EA playground
Disney Princess Enchanted Journey
My horse and me
Bee movie
Happy feet
Puppy Love
Catz
Dogz
i dont actually own any of these games, but they all have 3+ ratings and look like they would be suitable of that age range.

why not try resident evil4? theyll love that, and im sure scarface and godfather will go down a treat! lol only joking, most of the film tie-ins should be ok but be warned most of em are rubbish

Its a tricky one. My 4 year old can do Wii sports quite well but struggles with the controls on most games. The only other game he could do was Wario Ware, but you would still need to help. I'd suggest looking at Carnival Games too, a collection of games that young kids can do.

Carnival is a good choice for kids. A lot of people seem to be enjoying it. Lego Star Wars is a good bet as you can't die, you just regenerate and lose cash (like real life). Also, the missions are straight forward and good fun, plus it's co-op so you could do any tricky bits.

Resident evil UC is a amzing game for children 3-4 years old.
If they like fighting games get them Mortal Kombat full of lovely fighting with no blood what so ever.
lol

Serious now.
I would say the Movie games are more suitable for kids although they aren't fantastic but they wouldn't mind as long as they can play something like spiderman.

Oh almost forgot. On Amazon.co.uk, they are doing alot of Popcorn series game. They look good for the younger generation.

ONM issue febuary 2008 said that Barnyard is a good game for the younger generation. Got an 82% review so yeah thats a good buy.

Cheers one and all!

I've borrowed a couple of games and got Disney Princess which seems to be a hit (although she needs a bit of help and enjoyed the tutorials!)

One final question - she's left-handed so do any of you left-handers use your left hand for the Wii-mote and the right hand for th4e nun-chuck? My brother is left handed but uses the Wii-mote in his right hand but says he swaps depending on the game but my daughter won't really know intuitively what way is best

cheers again!

Funny enough my 4 year old is left handed and so's by brother, both use the Wiimote in their left hand.

Interesting!

I guess I'll let her try with both hands and let her decide what feels better!

Cheers!
