Resident Evil - Stuck on Action Commands

New to this were have been stuck for some time on Resident Evil. Using two contol we are given different command which we feel we act on immediately. However we die every time in the hallway when the pipes expode

Was this the bit near the start of chapter 3? If so I got past that part in 2 player just by pressing the correct buttons.

I think it may be the 'run' command were having problems with. Do you know the correct way to 'shake' the remote?

To "shake" you do a side to side movement but I don't think thats what you do to run in the game. I need to get back to this game to try it out.....may have a go at the weekend and do that part again for you.

i did this with my m8 the other day when he brought it to my house, i think you have to keep going rather than shake it for just a second
