I just got myself a 40" LCD HD TV... after my tv to replace the other tv that called it a day decided to call it a day aswell...

What do I need for the wii to get the max capability I can and also where can I get one at a resonable price. I was thinking of trying ebay but I know alot of fake stuff is sold there. So does anyone else have any ideas.

I brought this Premium Component Cable (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000LFS9KM) from Amazon early last year and rate it highly for its quality, it does give you a better picture than the standard connections.

Thanks Local... Looks like a must buy... I tried it yesterday with the normal cable and the picture wasn't too good.

No problem, I'm really pleased with it. I just need to get myself a surround sound system to get the most from the Dolby Prologic, any suggestions anyone?

Warner Brothers have just announced they will release all their movies on Blu-Ray only which now gives Blu-Ray 70% of the movie market, in hollywood terms its enough to finish HD-DVD.

I got a PS3 for Christmas and totally rate it for all its features but agree it needs more games to help justify buying one as a games console. As an entertainment system I think its great value and worth the money, you get a quality Blu-Ray player (£400) and a top spec computer with state of the art graphics (£1500) all for £300. You can copy your CD's to the PS3 and it also plays many types of media formats including DIVX, handy for downloaded movies ;) Finally, before I start sounding like a ps3 fanboy and get loads of stick lol, it will also upscale normal DVD's to look a lot more crisper on an HDTV, bonus.

btw....I LOVE WII more :D

Fantastic I was looking to buy a DVD player that upscales to HDTV but if this is another part of the ps3 package then excellent...

LOL.. oh yeah that divx feature sounds good aswell :-)
