Wireless setup question :)

I havent got a wireless router but i have got it setup to use internet connection sharing and the other half uses her laptop to connect to the net through my pc, When i try and set the wii up it picks my network up and asks for the password and seems to work but when it comes to testing the connection it throws a wobbly and says it wont work. Does anyone no if the wii can connect through a pc's tinternet connection? or has it gotta be a wireless router :?:

Do you have Wanadoo or Orange wireless Broadnand, or a Livebox modem. Kind of one side of its straight and the other sides angles down. If your trying to connect press the 1 button on the side and the wireless light will start flashing. I tried to connect loads os times with no hope, then I realised I had to press 1 now I connect well and boy its fast. :D

Sorry if you dont have a Livebox and ive wasted my time.
