Err, can somebody please give me a bit of info on the DS. Mainly the game saves, such as, is there memory in the console to save games or do they save on the cartridge things the game comes on.

Any other information will be gratefully received as I have never owned something like this before and so it is all new to me.

The game saves data are save on the game cartridge.

Hey Suze, long time no speak!

Hope you're having fun with your DS (unless, like me, you're addicted to Mario Galaxy and cannot peel yourself away from it!).

I'd recommend purchasing Animal Crossing Wild World if you're into open-ended experiences like MySims (but better, and minus those loading times you aren't too fond of).

What's MySims like on DS? Is it totally different to the wii version?

:D

Yeah, the DS is great and MySims is totally different than the Wii version and no nasty loading times either. I've heard about Animal Crossing but haven't got it yet.

I could do with getting a better/longer stylus though as the little things that came with the DS are a bit useless. The only ones in GameStation are the Mario ones, but I really want a slimline pen style. Any ideas where I can buy one from.

Like you I cannot leave Mario Galaxy alone and have hardly touched any of my other xmas games.

I brought my gf Animal Crossing with her DS for Christmas and she's hooked on it, so you can take that as a sign of it being a good game. She's a fan of Sims type games and she thinks this game is even better.

I got:
Brain Training
MySims
Rayman Raving Rabbids
Super Mario Bros

They all look good but am not sure about the Rayman Raving Rabids one, as when I first bought my PS2 I got a Rayman game with it and got bored really quickly, so I might sell/trade that one and put the proceeds to Animal Crossing which I really want put cannot afford full price at the moment.

Don't know when I will be buying any more games for the DS because with getting so many games for xmas it will take quite a while to play them all.
